Gluten is a protein found in wheat. Allergy, Intolerance, Sensitivity to wheat/gluten are all different terms related to this Allergy. Sensitive to Gluten means that as soon as a food product containing Gluten is consumed ( Semolina, Wheat, All purpose flour,Oats and sometimes Rye), the person will show symptoms of stomach ache, nausea, Upset Stomach and Irritation. Sometimes the person can gain or loose weight, get stomach ulcers, leading to problems with the liver (causing fatty liver) or with the gastro- Intestinal path.
Few months ago, my husband was diagnosed with wheat allergy for a period of one year. These are some of the Vegetarian- Indian recipes I used to make for him at that time. All these recipes use rice and is easily digested.
